I wrote my first book about the “deep state” in 1997. Ten books on that subject have followed including one published in 2017; over 60,000 have been sold. It was not called the deep state in 1997, it was more commonly called the conspiracy.
The CIA had coined the now-anachronistic term “conspiracy theory” in 1967, as a deep state defense mechanism. “Fake News” was also a CIA invention that has ended up having the tables turned on them, as more and more Americans realize the “lamestream media” is the real fake news media.
With their takeover of The New York Times and The Washington Post, the deep state became very aggressive and printed lie after lie that were then repeated ad infinitum by all their hundreds of comrades in the corporate media. These two papers are the most quoted news sources in America, and since the mid-‘90s are the largest disseminators of fake news.
The amount of times pundits called me crazy, major news sources demeaned me and lied about me, and refused to debate me, are far too many to count. And not to be forgotten is the blacklisting and attempted sales and distribution blockage of all my books.
Wikileaks’ release of “Vault 7” material about the CIA simply confirmed what I had been reporting and writing about for the last 20 years. Julian Assange should get the Medal of Freedom for exposing the horrific actions of the CIA. Just to clarify, the American so-called security apparatus has been collecting everything about every living American since the 1980s. In doing so they have violated the U.S. Constitution, and the First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Eight, Ninth and Tenth amendments to the Constitution.
Through the acquisition of super computers and the now operational Data Center, in Bluffdale, Utah, built at a cost of over $1.5, the deep state is now ready to take over. In a bizarre revelation the marquis to the administrative building reads: “Welcome to the Utah Data Center. If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear.” These are shades of George Orwell’s book 1984. The deep state is obviously Big Brother.
In some computer niche in Bluffdale there exists a file on you. It contains everything the government has ever collected on you, beginning with your birth certificate. It lists your medical condition and your doctor’s name, your bank account information, your spouse and your children, what magazines and TV programs you subscribe to, your driver’s license and all tickets you ever got, what books you read, your mortgage, your assets, your political affiliations, your grocery habits, your car and its VIN number, (so that they can remotely turn it off if they want to). They also have your Social Security records, your IRA and 401 (k), your blood type, and if you were born after 2002, your DNA. There is nothing about you they do not know.
Any of the now 17-government security agencies’ employees, by typing your name and SS number on a keyboard, will have all that information before him in less than one millisecond. I hope you do not suffer the delusion that all of these wonderful government bureaucrats will not be tempted to use this information against you at some point. The idea that governments are benign is seated in some very serious mistaken concepts of history. More people were killed in the 20th century by their own governments than were killed in all the wars of that tragic century.
