Hard-core Donald Trump supporters, desperate to grasp onto any straws that contradict the increasingly likely fact that Trump will go down as perhaps the worst President ever given his inspirational campaign rhetoric and the decisive historical era we live in, are applauding his firing of James Comey as FBI director.
But will they still be clapping when Trump names Comey’s replacement? A dozen names were quickly floated as possibilities, all of them Beltway Conservative swamp creatures of one ilk or another. The leading early contender was former Congressman and FBI agent Mike Rogers, who never met an enlargement of the surveillance/police state he didn’t eagerly embrace. The same can be said of the other contenders. Oh, Congressman Trey Gowdy of South Carolina is more conservative than most, but was a supporter of neo-con waterboy Marco Rubio during the 2016 presidential campaign.
A great choice would be Ron Paul, who is still going strong and who would work to end the FBI’s many unsavory practices and otherwise bring it back within constitutional restraints. As it stands now, the FBI’s main purpose seems to be to entrap individuals and send in informants and provocateurs to disrupt and destroy any group or organization that doesn’t toe the establishment line. And as Comey showed, the FBI also is active in the Deep State’s steering of the corporate media and federal government through propaganda and leaks.
Whoever the choice ends up being, most “conservatives” will be supportive because the hated Comey is out. And this is how quickly Trump’s base of support has morphed from populists and nationalists to establishment conservatives and “centrists.”
Trump has yet to make as much as a peep, on the campaign trail and as President, about constraining the surveillance state in any way. Both gangs of the one-party swamp love the surveillance state and can be counted on to support every expansion of its powers as reliably as they can be counted on to vote unanimously for every piece of legislation promoted by AIPAC.
The main reason conservatives so vigorously support the police/surveillance state is because they have no interest in “conserving” anything but their own wealth and privilege and the gated communities in which many live. The police/surveillance state has come about because of Washington’s lunatic agenda of ruling the world, and because of a reason that no conservative will publicly mention – to protect the upper class from the horrors that multiculturalism and unlimited Third World immigration have inflicted on everyone else.
Both police forces and private security personnel for the most part protect wealthy conservatives from the predators that middle and working class Americans must always be wary of. In a homogeneous society, Americans would once again be able to leave their doors unlocked and feel safe virtually anywhere and otherwise live their lives in freedom, but the liberals and conservatives (communists and monopoly capitalists) have jointly constructed and supported an agenda whose main goal is the constant reduction of the White population, in the U.S. and everywhere else in the world.
Liberals and conservatives (communists and the wealthy) have also perfected a “justice” system that almost always absolves upper class criminals of their crimes no matter how serious, while focusing on hooking as many White working class people as it can snare, through arbitrary enforcement of zillions of laws – most of which the average citizen isn’t even aware of – and when that doesn’t work, through entrapment. Snagging a White offender is prized because it helps reduce the embarrassing racial imbalance in U.S. prisons, as the “land of the free” has far and away have the most prisoners in the world on a per capita basis.
